To secure land and funding for a muliti-sport winter-ready artificial turf field facility to be built within the Cornwall city limits.
Cornwall has a long proud sports history and it is continuing to grow. Our youth sports programs in particular have been very successful. The one element our city is missing is an artificial turf field facility that residents of Cornwall can use almost year-round for multiple sports.
An outdoor turf field would benefit multiple youth sports organization, but it would also provide the ability to host outdoor sporting events bringing valuable economic growth to Cornwall and S.D. & G.
